On 14 and 15 October 2025, the UIC Rail Academy successfully conducted two Human and Organisational Factors (HOF) training sessions tailored for the Africa Region. This newly launched module is designed for railway professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of human and organisational factors.
Delivered in both English and French, the training brought together participants from 11 UIC Africa member countries. It was held as part of the Africa Safety Task Force’s ongoing initiatives and represents one of the four strategic pillars of its 2024-2025 programme.
